New deputy chairman of the committee on religious affairs was appointed

Matluba Kahhorova has been appointed as the new Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Religious Affairs, as reported by the Committee.
It was noted that on July 30, the Committee on Religious Affairs held an event with the participation of Senate Chairman Tanzila Norboyeva, during which organizational matters were discussed. The President's decision regarding the dismissal of Dilbar Gulomova, who has served as the Deputy Chairman, due to her transfer to another position, and the appointment of Matluba Qahhorova as her successor was announced.
For reference, in 2019, Dilbar Gulomova was appointed as the head of the newly established Department of Work with Women within the Committee on Religious Affairs and subsequently became the Deputy Chairman of the committee. Her new position has not yet been disclosed.
