Deputies send request regarding the case of a businessman whose rights are confiscated

Earlier, it was reported that a businessman from Jizzakh could not transport 60 tons of seeds belonging to him from Kashkadarya. The businessman's truck loaded with seeds has been detained at the "Umakay" road patrol station for 5 days at the request of the regional administration.

UzLiDeP also expressed its reaction to this situation.

"Article 67 of the Constitution clearly stipulates that the unity of the economic space, the free movement of goods, services, labor resources, and financial resources is guaranteed in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Therefore, neither the internal affairs officers nor the authorities have the authority to restrict the free movement of goods without the basis of the Constitution and laws," said in this reaction.

According to this, the issue of the businessman from Jizzakh, who was banned by the governor, is being investigated by party activists and deputies.

"In this regard, the members of the faction of the party in the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis sent requests to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the authorities of Kashkadarya region," the party added.
