Big fire breaks out in “Chorsu” market

On June 28, a significant fire erupted at the Chorsu market in Tashkent, as reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The fire started at 01:12 AM in the shops at the Chorsu market on Beruniy Street, Shaykhontohur district. According to the report from DES, 12 fire-rescue teams arrived at the scene by 01:17. The fire was contained by 02:22 and fully extinguished by 02:47.

No injuries or fatalities were reported from the fire. The situation is now fully under control. Major General Abdulla Koldoshev, the Minister of Emergencies, also arrived at the scene.

“The Minister of Emergencies and the heads of relevant organizations are investigating the incident,” the report stated. 

Earlier, there was a fire in a large shopping complex in Surkhandarya. Additionally, a fire was reported in one of the restaurants in Tashkent.
