Helicopter deployed to fight 2-hectare grass fire in Bostanlyk

On July 24, a fire broke out on 2 hectares of dry grass in the Bostanlyk district of the Tashkent region. This was reported by the regional Emergency Situations Department.

According to the report, at 11:16 a.m., the department received information about a fire covering approximately 2 hectares of dry grass and brushwood in the mountainous area of the Khojakent rural municipality of Bostanlyk district.

Rescuers from the fire and rescue team of the Emergency Situations Department, along with employees of relevant organizations, arrived at the scene at 11:30 a.m. Firefighting efforts are currently underway, with sufficient personnel and equipment mobilized.

Videos received by the editorial office show that helicopters were also involved in extinguishing the fire.

It should be noted that earlier, a fire broke out in a state reserve in the Surkhandarya region, which took nearly nine hours to fully extinguish.
