On January 15, an A-320 aircraft operated by Uzbekistan Airways, en route from Bukhara to Moscow, experienced an engine failure while approaching its destination, as reported by "Aviaincident."

The crew commander requested priority landing, prompting a blue alert at Vnukovo Airport, signaling an aviation emergency and the need for a forced landing.

Despite the situation, the A-320 successfully made a safe landing at Vnukovo.

According to the airline, the technical malfunction at Vnukovo International Airport led to the cancellation of several Uzbekistan Airways flights.

This incident follows a series of recent emergency landings by Uzbekistan Airways. Earlier, a flight from New York to Tashkent was forced to land in Kazan, Russia, due to a disruptive passenger. Additionally, another flight from St. Petersburg to Samarkand with 173 passengers onboard had to make an emergency landing at Moscow's Vnukovo Airport due to a stabilizer failure.
