Another earthquake occurance in Bukhara

An earthquake of magnitude 4 struck the Bukhara region today, January 23, 2025. The Republican Center for Seismic Prognostic Monitoring of the Emergency Situations Ministry reported the incident.

The earthquake occurred at 05:44 local time, with its epicenter located in the Jondor district of the Bukhara region. The coordinates of the earthquake were 40.22° North latitude and 63.12° East longitude, with a depth of 15 km. The epicenter was 526 km southwest of Tashkent.

The earthquake's intensity was recorded as:

- 2 points in Peshko district (47 km from the epicenter)
- 2 points in Karakul district (49 km from the epicenter)

This earthquake follows a previous seismic event in the Bukhara region on January 14, 2025.
