Individual was arrested in Bukhara for Distributing lewd photos of his girlfriend

A young man in the Bukhara region was arrested for threatening to distribute explicit photos of his girlfriend through channels. This was reported by the Cybersecurity Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

It was noted that Ya.Sh. reported that her indecent photos and videos were distributed on Telegram by an unknown person.

As a result of rapid search operations, it was determined that the crime was committed by R.R., a resident of Bukhara. R.R., who was brought in as a suspect for questioning, had been in a romantic relationship with the victim Ya.Sh. for some time. He obtained various explicit photos of her through Telegram and distributed them to her relatives.

In connection with this incident, a criminal case was initiated against R.R. under Article 141/3, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Disclosure of information that humiliates a person’s honor and dignity and reflects the private aspects of a person’s life).

"According to the law, the criminal actions under Article 141/3, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan are punishable by compulsory community service from three hundred and sixty to four hundred and eighty hours, restriction of freedom from one to three years, or imprisonment for up to three years," the report said.

It should be noted that earlier in Kashkadarya, a taxi driver demanded 2 million 800 thousand soums not to distribute his lover’s nude photos and videos.
