Two electricians died in a workplace accident in Bukhara

On October 2, two specialists tragically lost their lives due to a technical failure at the "Karakol" substation located in the Bukhara region. This was confirmed by the press service of the "National Electric Networks of Uzbekistan" joint-stock company.
The incident occurred at the 500 kV substation managed by the "Bukhara Main Power Grids" branch, resulting in the death of the two specialists.
Authorities were immediately informed of the accident, and an investigation into the causes of the technical failure is currently being conducted by authorized organizations.
QALAMPIR.UZ reached out to the press secretary of the company, who confirmed that compensation would be provided to the families of the deceased employees. Further details regarding the situation will be shared as the investigation progresses.
It should be noted that in a separate incident, a worker was fatally injured at a cinder block factory in the Gijduvan district of Bukhara. The worker, G.K., from the Kudre village in the "Zargaron" neighborhood, died after being seriously injured when the side of a "SNAKMAN" truck detached during the unloading of cement. The truck responsible for the accident has been impounded, and its technical condition is under review.
