Woman was arrested for killing her another child in Bukhara

19543A tragic incident has surfaced on social media regarding a woman who allegedly beat her three-year-old child to death on October 4 in Bukhara, Uzbekistan. Reports indicate that the woman, originally from the Surkhandarya region, had previously been incarcerated for killing another child and was released before committing this crime.
In response to the incident, QALAMPIR.UZ contacted Hayot Shamsutdinov, spokesperson for the General Prosecutor's Office, who confirmed that the Bukhara City Prosecutor's Office has initiated a criminal case against the woman. She is being charged under Article 97 (Deliberate Murder), Part 2, Clause "v" of the Criminal Code. The woman has been detained in accordance with Article 221 of the Criminal Procedure Code, with her right to defense being upheld.
This tragic event follows other recent violent incidents in the region. Earlier in the Surkhandarya region, a 16-year-old boy was accused of beating his sister to death after suspecting her of dating boys. The teenager, born in 2008, struck his sister, born in 2006, on the head and other parts of her body with a stick and a metal object, resulting in her death at the scene.
Additionally, in the Pop district of Namangan region, a male relative fatally stabbed three family members, including a mother and her two children.
