An explosion in the basement of a store in Bukhara resulted in one fatality

Today, March 1, witnessed an explosion in the basement of an automotive spare parts store in Bukhara. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations press service, the explosion claimed one life.
The incident occurred at 08:57 in the basement of a two-story building on Alpomish Street in the "Yoshlik" neighborhood of Bukhara, where the auto spare parts store is situated.
The explosion caused two concrete slabs of the first floor to collapse.
"The cause and extent of the explosion are under investigation. No fire was reported at the scene," stated the report.
Initial reports indicate that one individual died immediately due to injuries sustained in the incident, while another was hospitalized with various injuries.
Preliminary investigations are underway regarding the incident.
