Today, Uzbekistani chess players will play in the international tournament against the Netherlands

The international chess tournament "Tata Steel Chess-2023" hosted by the Netherlands is coming to an end.  Today, 26 January, the 11th round of the competition will begin. 

Uzbek grandmaster Nodirbek Abdusattarov, who is the leader in the "Masters" group, will compete in the 11th round against his nearest competitor in the tournament, Anish Giri, a representative of the Netherlands.  Abdusattorov scored 7 points from 11 chances, while Giri scored 6.5 points. 

In the 10th round, Javahir Sindorov, who is one of the strongest players in the Challenger group, signed a draw against the home chess player Ervin Lavi.  Today, Sindorov will have another match against Mack Warmerdam, a representative of the hosts.  At the moment, Javahir occupies 3rd place in his group with 6.5 points.  His opponent today is in 10th place with 4.5 points. 

It should be recalled that on 25 January, Nodirbek Abdusattarov played against the world's number two chess player Ding Lizheng from China, and chose the path of compromise.
