Uzbekistan to face the Netherlands today

Uzbekistan will play the Netherlands today in a friendly match in North America.
The match will be held behind closed doors without fans, based on a mutual agreement between the two national teams. However, the game will be broadcast by television channels in Uzbekistan.
This will be Uzbekistan’s second friendly match in North America. Earlier, on June 2, the national team played a friendly against Canada. Fabio Cannavaro’s side lost the match 2-0.
For the Netherlands, this will also be their second friendly match ahead of the World Cup. Earlier, on June 3, the Dutch side suffered a 1-0 defeat to Algeria.
Uzbekistan, which is taking part in the World Cup for the first time in its history, will play its opening match of the tournament against Colombia on June 18. The match will take place at the Azteca Stadium in Mexico at 7:00 a.m. Tashkent time. Uzbekistan will then face Portugal on June 23 and the Democratic Republic of the Congo on June 27.
The Netherlands have been drawn in Group F alongside Tunisia, Sweden and Japan.
