Today, the lights will go out in two districts of Tashkent

Today, August 21, some areas in two districts of the capital Tashkent will be cut off from electricity.  This was reported by the press service of the Tashkent city branch of “Regional Electricity Networks” joint-stock company

It is said that today, in order to ensure the supply of high-quality and stable electricity to consumers, to prevent emergency situations in power networks, and to thoroughly prepare for the autumn-winter season, the electricity supply will be temporarily turned off at the following addresses:

  • Yakkasaray district: in some streets of “Boshlikh” neighborhood from 09:00 to 15:00;
  • Mirzo Ulugbek district: on some streets of “Altintepa” neighborhood from 10:00 to 15:00.
  • Repair works in the above areas may be completed earlier than the scheduled time.

Also, in the message, the Tashkent city branch of JSC “Regional Power Grids” apologized to the consumers living in these areas for the inconvenience caused due to the temporary interruptions in the electricity supply due to these repair works.
