Mirziyoyev will go to Samarkand today

Today, August 24, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Samarkand region. This was announced by the press secretary of the President, Sherzod Asadov.
It is noted that during the trip to Samarkand, the President will get acquainted with the creative works, activities of educational institutions, industrial and service projects in the region.
It is also planned to hold a meeting on the tasks of socio-economic development of Samarkand region.
We remind you that on August 22-23 of this year, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and his wife paid a two-day state visit to Azerbaijan. The program of the visit included high-level talks and other events with the participation of the leaders of the two countries.
Also, issues of further strengthening of Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan strategic partnership and expansion of practical cooperation in priority areas were discussed. At the end of the negotiations, bilateral agreements were adopted.
