First Deputy Governor of Tashkent region was dismissed

Botir Alimbekov has been released from his position as the First Deputy Governor of the Tashkent region, responsible for agriculture and water management issues. The announcement was made by Sherzod Asadov, the press secretary of the President.
Alimbekov's dismissal was attributed to his failure to effectively utilize the agricultural opportunities and established systems in the Tashkent region.
He had held this position since January 29 of this year.
Previously, Husniddin Hosilov, the chief engineer of "Uzbekistan Railways" JSC, was also released from his role at his own request.
