Assistant of the Prime Minister Sarvar Ashurov was dismissed

Sarvar Ganievich Ashurov, who served as the Assistant to the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan and Head of the Prime Minister's Reception Office, has been dismissed, as reported by the Prime Minister's Press Secretary, Bekzod Hidoyatov. 

The specific reasons for Ashurov's dismissal were not disclosed.

Ashurov, born in 1982, is a graduate of the National University of Uzbekistan and the Tashkent Institute of Finance. Before his recent position, he held several notable roles, including Deputy Chairman of the Kamolot Youth Organization and the organization's interim chairman. He also served as First Deputy Director of the Youth Affairs Agency from July 2020 to January 2022, before being appointed Head of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers for Youth, Public Organizations, Mahalla, and Family Support.

In related news, the recent dismissals of other high-ranking officials have been reported. These include Abdusalom Abdumavlonovich Azizov, former Chairman of the State Security Service, and Colonel Ahrorjon Halimjonovich Atxamov, Head of the Criminal Investigation Service of the Rapid Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
