The head coach of the Uzbekistan boxing team, Tulkin Kilichev, suffered a heart attack after celebrating Hasanboy Dusmatov's Olympic victory at the "Roland Garros" arena in Paris. This was reported by "The Guardian".

It is noted that Hasanboy Dusmatov, the champion of the Rio 2016 Olympics, faced the host boxer Bennama Bilal in the final match for the gold medal in the 51 kg weight category. Ultimately, Dusmatov emerged victorious, becoming a two-time Olympic champion. Upon witnessing the victory, coach Tulkin Kilichev's health deteriorated, leading to a heart attack.

British medical professionals who were nearby provided the coach with immediate emergency care. However, even after 2-3 minutes, the coach did not regain consciousness. Dr. Harj Singh and physiologist Robbie Lillis were instrumental in saving Kilichev's life. The coach was subsequently transported to the hospital.

"Uzbekistan's coaching team returned to the dressing room and began celebrating Dusmatov's victory. Suddenly, shouts were heard from that area, entirely unrelated to the celebratory atmosphere. A voice called out, 'Doctor, we need a doctor.' Harj was the first to respond, and I followed him with the emergency trauma bag we had with us. When I arrived 30 seconds after Harj, he had already started performing CPR on the coach. At first, he was unresponsive, but after 20-30 seconds, as Harj continued CPR, the coach suddenly regained consciousness," said physiologist Robbie Lillis.

According to Lillis, the doctor was unable to sleep the night following the incident, deeply concerned about the coach's condition.

"I am grateful that I was able to contribute to someone's survival," said Dr. Singh.

According to the Boxing Federation of Uzbekistan, Tulkin Kilichev's condition is stable, and he is feeling well.

"Yesterday, our national team's head coach, Tulkin Kilichev, experienced some health issues, and the organizing committee's medical team immediately provided first aid in the athletes' dressing room. Currently, our coach's condition is stable, and he is feeling well. However, further treatment is required," the statement read.
