Today, on September 12, the second round of the World Chess Olympiad took place in Budapest, Hungary.
The Uzbekistan men's team defeated Egypt with a score of 2.5-0.5, while the women's team triumphed over Angola with a score of 3-0.
It is worth noting that the Uzbekistan men's national team is participating in the competition as the reigning champions.
Previously, both the Uzbekistan men's and women's teams started the tournament with victories. The men's team beat Trinidad and Tobago 3.5-0.5, and the women's team defeated Haiti 4-0.
