On October 24, citizens from the Ishtikhan district of the Samarkand region staged a circus performance featuring a boa constrictor at a preschool institution in the Kushrabot district of the same region. This incident was reported by the press service of the Children's Ombudsman.

The performance involved B.M. and I.B., residents of the Ishtikhan district, showcasing a boa constrictor—a 2.5-meter-long tiger python listed as an endangered species and illegally kept. Approximately 60 preschool students witnessed the act. Although the individuals held a permit to conduct modern circus performances in the Kushrabot district until December 31, the "snake game" was not part of the approved program.

An investigation revealed that B.M. and I.B. had performed similar acts with the python at eight secondary schools in the Kushrabot district, allegedly in exchange for financial compensation.

Following the discovery, the illegally kept tiger python was confiscated with the assistance of ecological experts and handed over to the regional Department of Ecology in accordance with legal procedures.

Authorities have confirmed that the investigation into the incident is ongoing, and legal measures are being taken to evaluate and address the situation.
