35219Alisher Kadyrov, Deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Supreme Majlis and head of the "Milliy Tiklanish" Democratic Party faction has voiced criticism regarding conditions at gas stations in Tashkent and commented on the detention of Gayrat Dustov, who was sentenced to 15 days in custody. His case is currently under appellate review.
"I couldn't understand the young man, Metan. Value yourself, you're fortunate. Show diligence after the holiday. The agencies responsible for investigations are compelled to act, and it was clear that you would spend the holiday in pre-trial detention rather than with your children," Kadyrov remarked in a social media post.
He added, "We will discuss the validity of the objection later and in more detail. However, in one family, children had to endure the New Year not only without joy but without their father, all due to his inaction."
Kadyrov emphasized that the state, law, and government operate for the benefit of the people. In fulfilling their role, they impose and enforce restrictions.
"Justice was imprisoned for 15 days. In any country, rights and obligations define boundaries. The more organized side has always enjoyed greater space, and this will continue. Societies that fail to appreciate their worth, understand their achievements, or avoid wastefulness have always existed in limited spaces and will continue to do so," Kadyrov stated.
"We are at the start of this journey. While individuals age by one year annually, states and societies mature over decades or even centuries. Building a strong society remains an ongoing process. How long this takes depends on how quickly we grasp and apply the principles of dignity, justice, prosperity, and prudence to our lives," he concluded.
