Justice official was caught with a bribe 

An employee of the State Services Center was caught with a bribe in Tashkent region.  This was reported by the State Security Service.

According to him, an employee of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Zangiota district of the Tashkent region entered the trust of another person and, through his acquaintances working in a high position, gave him 10 hectares of irrigated land located in the Tashkent district and in the state reserve for 24 million.  He said that he will buy it for US dollars.  Also, 1.5 mln. Of the agreed amount in exchange for issuing the decision granting the ownership of the land area.  He demanded to give US dollars.

“In a quick operation conducted by the employees of the Tashkent city department of the State Security Service in cooperation with the regional department of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes, he was caught with physical evidence when he received 200,000 US dollars in advance,” the State Security Service reported.

It is reported that criminal cases have been initiated against this person under Articles 168 (fraud) and 28,211 (bribery) of the Criminal Code, a preventive measure in the form of imprisonment has been applied, and investigations are underway.

It should be noted that earlier in Khorezm, the head of the road construction organization and the cadastral officer were caught with bribes.
