Bahadir Jalolov embarrassed me – Shahjakhan Ergashev

Uzbek professional boxer Shahjakhan Ergashev expressed his opinion about the fighting style of the champion of the Tokyo-2020 Olympics Bahadir Jalolov and his relationship with him.

“In one of my interviews many years ago, I said that I don’t like Bahadir Jalolov’s boxing.  Years later, Bahadir shamed me for that.  Winning the Olympics and becoming a world champion is not an easy task.  He is also doing well in professional boxing.  Bahadir Jalolov proved to be an excellent boxer, but in fact 5-6 years ago had not boxed well.  After the failure in the 2016 Olympics, Bahadir worked tirelessly on himself and achieved the desired result.  I look at him with envy,” says Ergashev.

For information, Bahadir Jalolov made his professional boxing debut in 2018.  He had a total of 12 fights in the pro ring and won all of them by knockout.

It should be recalled that earlier Ergashev commented on the rumors that he could fight another professional boxer from Uzbekistan, Shahram Ghiyosov, and if necessary, he will go to Bukhara and fight with Ghiyosov.  He also announced that he was ready to transfer.
