For the academic year 2023/2024, the deadline to pay at least 50 percent of the standard or differentiated fee for one year of training, along with formalizing admission as students, has been extended until April 10 of this year. This information was provided by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation.

This extension applies to:

- New students admitted to higher education institutions through fee-contracts, who were permitted to begin studies by the institution's head, having completed required subjects but having delayed contract signing and payments beyond the specified deadline, and whose student admission hasn't been formalized yet.
- Students transferring, resuming, or transitioning from foreign or non-state higher education institutions.
- New students recommended for professional educational institutions (colleges, technical schools) under fee-contracts.

The Ministry also emphasizes that, as per current regulations, the payment deadline for second-year and higher students' contracts can be extended by the institution's head.
