The cost of issuing license plates to cars will be increased

11146Changes have been made to the rates of fees charged for the issuance of registration number plates in Uzbekistan. Tonight, on August 10, the Minister of Internal Affairs Polat Bobojonov signed the law “Registration of license plates and fixed number forms, registration of motor vehicles, their trailers (semi-trailers) “On making changes to the rates of fees charged for re-registration, mandatory technical inspection, as well as taking exams” is provided for in the order.
According to it, from November 1, 2023, the payment rates were set in the following amounts:
- For motor vehicle registration number plates (RO’DRB) – in the amount of 3.5 times the basic calculation amount (BHM);
- For registration number plates of motor vehicles, scooters and trailers – in the amount of 1.75 times the basic calculation amount;
- For transit registration number plates – in the amount of 25 percent of the basic calculation amount;
- To issue new registration number plates instead of a pair of invalid, broken or damaged registration number plates – in the amount of 3.5 times the amount of the basic calculation;
- To issue a new registration number plate instead of one invalid, broken or damaged registration number plate – in the amount of 1.75 times the amount of the basic calculation.
Also:
- In the amount of 3.5 times the amount of the Basic calculation for issuing a new pair of registration number plates instead of a lost one or a pair of registration number plates;
- 1.75 of the amount of the basic calculation for issuing a new registration number plate instead of one lost registration number plate (for motor vehicles, scooters and trailers (semi-trailers)) in the amount of bari;
- After the 12-month period of registration, the license plate number is charged for storage for another year in the amount of 1 times the amount of the basic calculation.
- This order will enter into force on November 1, 2023.
For information, the last time payment amounts for issuing license plate signs were set in 2011 and have not changed since then.
