FIFA recognizes Uzbekistan’s Asilbek Aliev as tournament's top scorer

FIFA’s official website has published an article highlighting six standout players from the U-17 Asian Cup held in Saudi Arabia. Among them is Uzbekistan’s young forward Asilbek Aliev, who was the tournament’s top scorer.

The article focuses on players from teams that secured spots in the U-17 World Cup, analyzing their performances and contributions. Aliev was recognized for his critical role in Uzbekistan’s championship victory.

“Asilbek Aliev, Forward, 15 years old. This young talent was one of the key factors behind Uzbekistan’s triumph. By the quarterfinal stage, Aliyev had already scored five goals in four matches, showcasing impressive attacking instincts at just 15 years old. Earlier, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev presented cars as gifts to Uzbekistan’s U-17 players and coaches, celebrating their remarkable achievement in the competition.
