Tragic lightning strike claims life of young man in Andijan

In a devastating incident that unfolded yesterday morning, a 17-year-old boy lost his life due to a lightning strike in the Andijan region. The Andijan regional prosecutor's office solemnly shared this heart-wrenching news with KALAMPIR.UZ.
The incident occurred at around 8:00 a.m. on June 19 in a field belonging to a farm situated in the Pakhtaabad district of the region. Tragically, while diligently working in the field, a young boy, born in 2006, and a girl, born in 2008, were suddenly struck by a bolt of lightning. The boy tragically succumbed to the strike on the spot, while the girl, fortunately, survived and was promptly rushed to the hospital for medical attention. The latest reports indicate that the girl's condition has significantly improved, bringing a glimmer of hope amidst this devastating event.
