Jame mosque burned in Andijan

In the Marhamat district of the Andijan region, a mosque was completely burnt down.  Videos showing the burning mosque spread on social networks.  The district administration gave official information on the situation.

According to reports, yesterday, 19 October, at 13:59 p.m., the 20th Fire Rescue Unit of the Merhamat District Emergency Department, arrived at the "Obidjon Botirov" house located at Malham Street 1, "Gar-gar" neighborhood citizen's gathering of the district.  There was a report of a fire in the mosque.

The 1st-2nd combat unit of the Merhamat District Emergency Department arrived at the scene at 2:06 p.m.  However, due to the area affected by the fire in the mosque, additional assistance was called from the DED of Asaka district and the DED of Buloqbashi district.

The fire was contained at 2:09 p.m. and completely extinguished at 2:35 p.m. 5 fire rescue crews were involved in handling the fire.
