Damas vehicle falls into a canal in Andijan

A video showing a crane extracting a Damas car from a canal in the Andijan region has been widely shared on social media. QALAMPIR.UZ contacted the Andijan Emergency Situations Department for details about the incident.
The incident occurred at night on May 21 this year. The driver of the Damas lost control of the vehicle, causing it to plunge into the Ulug'nor canal. Besides the driver, there was another passenger in the car. Emergency personnel located one passenger on May 23, but the other passenger drowned.
"The investigation into the incident is ongoing. Further information will be provided," stated an employee of the Emergency Situations Department.
It is worth noting that a similar incident occurred earlier in the Yashnabad district of Tashkent, where a Gentra car fell off the TAPOiCh bridge.
