A fraudster who tried to sell 50 hectares of land for $35,000 was caught in Andijan

In the Izboskan district of the Andijan region, a fraudster who tried to sell 50 hectares of land, without the right to sell it, for $35,000 was arrested.  This is reported by the press service under Andijan internal affairs department.

According to the report, a citizen living in the Oltinkul district submitted an application to the Department of Internal Affairs of the Andijan region.  The petitioner said that a fraudster wanted to sell 50 acres of land in the Izboskan district without having the right to sell it, and he wanted to charge $700 per acre for a total of $35,000.

According to the application by the person who disclosed the information about the illegal land sale, quick action was held by the General Department of Criminal Investigation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Department of Combating Corruption and Economic Crimes, and the Department of Internal Affairs of the Andijan region. During these quick measures, he was caught while taking 292,825,000 soms (26,500 dollars) from the 35,000 dollars fraudulently requested from the applicant in front of the mosque located in the Izboskan district.

In connection with this situation, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 168, Part 4, Clause "a" of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and a preliminary investigation is underway.
