Truck crashes into a bridge due to falling asleep of a driver in Andijan

Today, August 5, at 4:00 a.m., a truck collided with a railway bridge in Andijan district after the driver fell asleep at the wheel. This incident was reported by the Andijan Regional Police Department.
It has been reported that a driver, born in 2002 and identified as A.S., was operating a HOWO truck on the 83rd kilometer of the 4R-116 highway, which passes through the Sanoat neighborhood of Andijan district. The driver fell asleep, lost control of the vehicle, and crashed into the railway bridge.
The traffic accident resulted in damage to both the HOWO truck and the railway bridge. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
According to the report, preliminary investigations are currently underway by the Road Traffic Safety Group of the Andijan District Internal Affairs Department.
