In the Andijan region, an appeal was received by the Human Rights Representative (Ombudsman) of the Oliy Majlis regarding the forced placement of a health seller in the Psychoneurology dispensary. This appeal was taken under control and sent to the regional representative of the Ombudsman in the Andijan region for investigation. This was reported by the information service of the Ombudsman.

The regional representative S.P. addressed the citizens, and during a personal conversation with O'.O., born in 1994, the seller's partner B.M. informed that despite being healthy, his parents forced him to be placed in the Psychoneurology Dispensary of the Andijan region.

"This appeal was examined with the formation of a working group. During the investigation, the father, mother, spouse, and other relatives of citizen B.M. were interviewed. According to them, B.M. has two children and owns several real estate properties. Recently, there were changes in his mental state, and he frequently discussed adopting O'.O., a citizen born in 2002 and doing business with him. In March of this year, he was first admitted to the regional psychoneurological dispensary. He was discharged at the end of April due to his improved health. However, soon after, citizen B.M.'s health worsened again, and he was readmitted to the dispensary," the report said.

Additionally, close relatives of the patient, citizens S.P. and others, informed that O'.O. had a negative influence on B.M. On May 23, 2024, they coordinated with a junior medical officer of the Psychoneurology dispensary and attempted to remove patient B.M., but were stopped by S. Azimov, a preventive inspector of the DIA of Shahrikhon district.

It is noted that the members of the working group also spoke with patient B.M. He told his parents that he had no objections, that his health had improved, that the hospital conditions were good, and he asked his friends O'.O. and S.P. not to visit him in the hospital again.

According to the results of the application study, on May 23, 2024, patient B.M. was helped to escape from the treatment facility. On other occasions, S.P. and the junior medical officer of the 2nd department were dismissed based on the Ombudsman's application for introducing O'.O. to the patient.

Earlier, it was revealed that a citizen had been illegally placed in regional psychiatric hospital No. 2 located in Qoqon, in cooperation with a district DIA preventive inspector and neighborhood representatives. A doctor who performed a medical examination of a citizen without his consent was given a warning.
