Uzbekistan presents advanced military technology at Abu Dhabi exhibition (photoreport)

7572The Defense Industry Agency under the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan is participating in one of the world’s largest defense technology exhibitions, held biennially in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The Ministry of Defense’s press service reported on the country’s involvement in the event.
The exhibition, which runs from February 17 to 21, features advanced military equipment produced by military-industrial enterprises, including drones, electronic warfare systems, and dual-purpose products.
Among Uzbekistan’s key exhibits are the "Arslon" 8x8 and 6x6 armored vehicles, along with the "To‘fon" self-propelled howitzer mounted on a truck chassis. The five-day event is expected to include the signing of major contracts that will shape the future of military technologies, strategic partnerships, industrial innovations, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence in defense.
It is worth noting that at a recent meeting on strengthening national defense capabilities, the President of Uzbekistan and Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, emphasized the importance of leveraging the private sector’s potential in defense production and the training of engineering and technical personnel.
