From 17 to 24 December of this year, an international tournament dedicated to the memory of Grandmaster Vugar Gashimov will be held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
Grandmaster Nodirbek Abdusattarov from Uzbekistan will also participate in this tournament. In the competition, the world’s 10 strongest chess players will compete in rapid and blitz. The super-tournament is held in a round robin system.
Earlier, Nodirbek Abdusattarov, who is considered the current world champion in rapid, participated in the international chess tournament hosted by Calcutta, India, and took 7th place.
