An international tournament dedicated to the memory of the chess grandmaster Victor Gashimov continues in Baku, Azerbaijan. In the tournament where 10 famous chess players of the world are participating, Nodirbek Abdusattorov retained his lead in the rapid course and became the champion.
In the program of the third day, the Uzbek chess player scored 14 points with 1 win and 2 draws. In the 7th round, Nodirbek defeated his main opponent in the tournament, Rauf Mamedov. In the following rounds, Abdusattarov signed a draw with Richard Rapport from Romania and Gukesh from India in the last round.
The Uzbek chess player won 4 out of 9 games and won 5 games in the rapid direction.
