Date and opponent announced for Abdumalik Khalokov’s second pro boxing match

3385Olympic boxing champion Abdumalik Khalokov is set to compete in his next professional boxing match on February 27. This was reported by QALAMPIR.UZ.
According to the source, Khalokov will face Marlembron Acuña from Venezuela in a six-round bout at a tournament in Seville, Spain. Due to this fight, he will not be participating in the "Stranja" tournament in Bulgaria.
Khalokov has an impressive amateur record, having won the Asian Youth Championship in the -60 kg weight category, the World Youth Championship in the -56 kg category, and the III Youth Olympic Games in the same weight class in 2018. He is also a gold medalist at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
This will be the second professional fight for the 24-year-old boxer. In his debut match, he secured a knockout victory against Ukrainian Alexander Egorov. His opponent, Acuña, has fought 25 times in his career, recording 13 wins, 11 losses, and 1 draw.
