15640Yesterday, on July 16, the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov, and the Vice-President of the Olympic Council of Asia, Otabek Umarov, met with the Head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, as part of the Caucasus Investment Forum in Grozny, Chechnya. This was reported on Kadyrov's Telegram channel.
It was noted that during the conversation, the main issues of cooperation between the regions in various fields were discussed. The topic of developing strategic cooperation was also addressed.
"Chechnya values close brotherly relations with Uzbekistan and seeks to further strengthen these relations," wrote Kadyrov.
Prime Minister Aripov also conveyed the sincere wishes of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to Ramzan Kadyrov. "The recent visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin opened a new page in the relations between Russia and Uzbekistan," said Aripov.
According to reports, after the conversation, Abdulla Aripov and Otabek Umarov proceeded to Grozny International Airport.
