On November 25, the General Assembly of Uzbekistan's National Olympic Committee (NOC) convened to address organizational matters. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was unanimously elected as the Chairman of the NOC. Presidential Press Secretary Sherzod Asadov announced this.
In addition, Otabek Umarov was appointed as the First Deputy Chairman, Sherzod Tashmatov as Deputy Chairman, and Oybek Kasimov as the Secretary General of the Committee.
Key officials attended the session, including Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov, Head of the Presidential Administration Department Odil Abdurakhmanov, Minister of Sports Adham Ikramov, General Assembly members, and representatives of sports federations and associations.
