Abdulla Aripov visits Armenia

4450A delegation led by the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov, visited Yerevan, Armenia, to participate in the regular meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Eurasian Economic Union in observer status, according to Prime Minister's press secretary Bekzod Hidoyatov.
In his speech, Aripov highlighted that the economic reforms under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev are yielding significant results.
After the meeting, a joint action plan between the Eurasian Economic Commission and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2024-2026 was signed.
Additionally, during his visit to Yerevan, Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov held a bilateral meeting with the First Vice President of Iran, Mohammad Reza Arif.
During the meeting, discussions focused on the upcoming Intergovernmental Joint Commission meeting, the accompanying business forum, and the implementation of industrial cooperation projects between the two countries in various sectors.
The Uzbek delegation also participated in the Eurasian Economic Forum.
It should be noted that before this, Abdulla Aripov met with his Kazakh counterpart in Almaty. During the meeting, chaired by Aripov and Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister, Oljas Bektenov, it was emphasized that the strategic partnership and alliance between the two countries, based on principles of friendship, good neighborliness, and mutual respect, have been rapidly developing in recent years.
