19823Renowned Uzbek football commentator Khayrulla Hamidov shared his thoughts on Abdukodir Khusanov’s recent performance, which he believes was influenced by the player’s “adventures” in Tashkent. Hamidov expressed his views on social media, noting that Khusanov’s actions in the capital had a noticeable impact on his game.
“Abdukodir Khusanov's 'adventures' in Tashkent have certainly affected his performance. Many are talking about this, and I don't want to single out anyone. However, I was pleased to hear one thing yesterday. I think the right conclusions were made.
The commentator explained that Zo’r TV had initially invited various guests before the game, with Khusanov's father, Hikmat Khoshimov, among them. However, according to the channel’s officials, Khoshimov declined the invitation and stopped giving interviews. “This was the right decision. It shows that Khoshimov made the right conclusion, especially after the incident involving Khusanov’s car when he arrived in Tashkent, which seemed to have a negative impact.,” said Hamidov.
Hamidov also pointed out that Khusanov appeared physically unprepared for the match.
“The lack of rest was clearly visible during the game. The criticism mostly came from journalists. Khusanov struggled with positioning throughout the match, especially during Taremi’s goal. When a player is out of physical shape, it becomes obvious. Khusanov recognized this and is learning from it. His decision to decline an interview proves that he understands the issue. I hope Khusanov won’t face similar problems when he returns to Tashkent,” Hamidov commented.
It should be noted that Khusanov was previously criticized for being the weakest player in Uzbekistan’s match against Iran.
