70-year-old man detained on suspicion of sexual abuse of granddaughter

On February 9, a 70-year-old man from Bozor-Qo‘rg‘on district, Jalal-Abad region, Kyrgyzstan, was detained on suspicion of sexually abusing his 14-year-old granddaughter, according to Sputnik Kyrgyzstan.
Authorities reported that the victim is currently pregnant. Upon learning of the incident, the girl’s relatives immediately contacted law enforcement.
Relevant forensic examinations have been ordered, and the suspect has been placed in investigative detention for two months while the investigation continues.
Earlier, in Turkey, a 32-year-old teacher in Dilovası district, Kocaeli, was arrested for allegedly sexually abusing 24 female students at a local school.
