10678The Regional Department of Internal Affairs has announced a 10 million soum reward for information leading to the identification of the driver who struck a pedestrian and fled the scene in the Khorezm region.
According to reports, an unidentified vehicle struck a 35-year-old man driving on the side of the road at the 3rd kilometer of the Urganch-Khonka highway on June 18 around 01:45. The driver fled without providing first aid. Consequently, H. Egamberdiyev, born in 1989 and a resident of the "Bunyodkor" neighborhood in Khonka district, died at the scene.
The DIA has stated that they are actively conducting search and investigation operations to identify and apprehend the driver and vehicle involved in the traffic accident.
"Dear citizens, if you have any information regarding the person responsible for this traffic accident, please contact us at 102; 62 220-40-14; 97-602-02-22; or 90-713-08-13," the statement urges.
Furthermore, anyone who significantly aids in solving the crime will receive a 10 million soum reward, and their information will be kept confidential.
