A criminal case was initiated against the AIF platform, which caused a lot of material damage to people
In the Khorezm region, an investigation into the activities of the popular AIF platform has led to the initiation of a criminal case, as reported by the Investigative Department of the regional DIA.
On September 3, the activities of the AIF platform on social networks were investigated following an appeal by a group of citizens to the Department of Internal Affairs of the Khorezm region. During the investigation, it was discovered that the platform had ceased its operations for unknown reasons, resulting in significant material damage to the complainants.
As a result, the Investigative Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Khorezm region initiated a criminal case under Article 188-1, Part 3, Clauses "a, v" (Illegal activities related to the attraction of funds and other property) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
An investigative team comprising qualified investigators from regional internal affairs bodies has been formed to identify the criminal activity and those responsible and to ensure that the investigation proceeds efficiently and effectively.
"Currently, the investigation team is working to determine the number of victims and the extent of the damage caused within the framework of this criminal case. We urge those who suffered material damage due to this platform to contact the Investigation Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Khorezm region.
