Father-in-law beats daughter-in-law to death in Khorezm

In the Khorezm region, a father-in-law has been arrested after allegedly beating his daughter-in-law to death, according to QALAMPIR.UZ.
The incident occurred in the Gurlan district, where the woman's husband had traveled to Russia for work, leaving her alone with their three children.
Reports suggest that the father-in-law brutally attacked his daughter-in-law while the mother-in-law reportedly locked the doors from the outside.
The Khorezm Regional Prosecutor's Office confirmed that the suspects have been arrested, and a criminal case has been initiated under part 1 of Article 97 (Deliberate murder) of the Criminal Code. Investigations are ongoing.
This follows a previous case in Khorezm, where a father-in-law was charged with the murder of his 33-year-old daughter-in-law.
