In June, the Ministry of Energy reported that 71% of Uzbekistan's population used up to 200 kW of electricity.

According to the Ministry's report, 71% of consumers stayed within the prescribed limit, indicating no immediate need to raise the 200 kWh monthly base rate applied to consumers.

The report highlights that 22% of consumers used between 201 kWh and 1000 kWh, paying 900 soums. Of these, 11% consumed between 201 and 300 kW.

It's worth noting that those consuming up to 300 kWh pay only 450 soums for the first 200 kWh and 900 soums for the remaining 100 kWh.

Furthermore, 7% of the population consumed between 1,001 and 10,000 kWh, paying 1,350 soums.

Overall, the country consumed 1.1 billion kWh of electricity. Of this total, those consuming up to 200 kW accounted for 71% of consumers, constituting 40% of total consumption. Consumers using 201 to 300 kW made up 11% of consumers and 19% of total consumption, while those using 301 to 500 kW accounted for 20% of total consumption.

Only 3.7% of consumers used 500 kW or more, consuming 21% of total electricity.
