16 boxers from Uzbekistan won the international tournament

“Stranja” traditional boxing tournament is being held in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.  On 23 February, 20 Uzbek boxers fought for a place in the next round.
 Uzbek boxers Odiljon Aslanov, Nodirjon Mirzakhmedov, Shahzod Muzaffarov and Temurkhan Sobirov lost the opportunity to their opponents and bid farewell to the tournament.

 -54 kg: Shahzod Muzaffarov – Sachin (India) – 1:4 – defeat;
 -60 kg: Dilshod Abdumurodov – Julifer Bascon (Philippines) – 5:0 – victory;
 -71 kg: Nurislam Ismailov – Aidan Walsh (Ireland) – the opponent did not fight due to injury, Ismailov went to the next stage;
 -67 kg: Asadkhoja Moydinkhojayev – Loris Idrizi (Kosovo) – 5:0 – victory;
 -67 kg: Bekzod Hamidov – Temirkhan Tezek (Kazakhstan) – 3:2 – victory;
 -71 kg: Saidjamshid Jafarov – Vahid Abbasov (Serbia) – 4:1 – victory;
 -86 kg: Temurkhan Sobirov – Tomas Niedzwietski (Poland) – defeat.  Sobirov could not continue the fight due to injury;
 +92 kg: Bahadir Jalolov – Kamshibek Konkabayev (Kazakhstan) – The opponent refused to participate in the fight.  Jalolov went to the next stage.
 -86 kg: Shahjakhan Abdullayev – Bekzat Tangatar (Kazakhstan) – 5:0 – victory;

In the +92 kg weight category, Bahadir Jalolov was supposed to fight against Kamshibek Konkabayev from Kazakhstan, but Konkabayev did not enter the ring for unknown reasons and was given a technical defeat.

In total, 16 representatives of Uzbekistan continued their winning streak in yesterday’s matches.  Today, the 24 February, another 10 Uzbek leather glove masters will hold their next battle.
