The semi-final fights of the senior World Boxing Championship, which is nearing its conclusion, have concluded.  Nine representatives from Uzbekistan competed for a spot in the final.

Lazizbek Mullojonov contested the semi-final bout in the -92 kg weight category against the seasoned Russian boxer, Muslim Gajimagomedov, but unfortunately lost by a score of 1:4.  Meanwhile, Alokhan Abdullayev, competing in the -75 kg division, missed out on his chance to advance to the final after being defeated by Brazilian boxer Wanderley Pereira.  Consequently, these two Uzbekistani representatives concluded their journey in the World Championship with bronze medals.

On the other hand, Oybek Jorayev, Asadkhoja Moydinkhojayev, Hasanboy Dosmatov, Abdumalik Khalokov, Ruslan Abdullayev, and Saidjamshid Jafarov emerged victorious in their respective pre-final bouts, securing their spots in the fight for the gold medal.

In the super heavyweight category, Baahadir Jalolov was scheduled to face Ayub Gadfa Drissi from Spain.  However, Drissi was unable to enter the ring due to an injury, granting Jalolov an automatic entry into the finals.
