Violations were found in state procurement worth 11 billion soums

3052In June and July of this year, violations of the law were discovered in state procurement totaling 11 billion soums, according to the Anti-Corruption Agency.
Specifically, conflicts of interest were identified in the following public procurements:
- 2.9 billion soums at the Jizzakh branch of the Uzyolukuprik cluster;
- 885.9 million soums at Shahrisabz City Children’s Music and Art School No. 20;
- 605 million soums at Namangan State Forestry;
- 551.9 million soums at the Tashkent District Medical Association;
- 520 million soums at the "Construction Repair Group" under the Ministry of Internal Affairs;
- 500 million soums at the state institution of the water supply service in Termiz District;
- 407 million soums at the Yangiyer branch of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology;
- 275.5 million soums at the Kumkurgan District Improvement Department;
- 200 million soums at the Sariosiyo District Road Use Unitary Enterprise;
- 190 million soums at the Kashkadarya branch of the Republican Center for Epidemic Quarantine and Protection of Extremely Dangerous Infectious Diseases;
- 169.1 million soums at the Andijan Scientific-Experimental Station;
- 82 million soums at the Narpay District Improvement Department;
- 76.5 million soums at the Preschool and School Education Department of Altinsoy District.
Additionally, violations were found in the evaluation process of the following public procurements, contrary to the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On State Procurement":
- 3 billion soums at "Okoltin Grain Products" JSC;
- 403 million soums at the Vocational School of Ohangaron City, Tashkent Region.
Furthermore, it was discovered that mutually affiliated individuals participated in the state procurement of the Namangan Vocational Training Center, valued at 269 million soums, in violation of the law.
As a result, reports of the procurement commissions on determining the winners were canceled, preventing the illegal conduct of these public procurements.
The collected documents related to these violations have been forwarded to law enforcement agencies for further action.
We remind you that previously, it was found that "Nukus International Airport" LLC did not comply with the requirements of the Laws on "State Procurement" and "On Competition" during its competitive bidding for 120,000,000 soums through the State Procurement portal.
