The price of electricity and gas increases for legal entities

New tariffs for fuel and energy resources, set to take effect on October 1 of this year, have been approved. The decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, titled "On Additional Measures to Introduce Market Mechanisms in the Fuel and Energy Sector," has been adopted.

According to this decision, tariffs for residents will remain unchanged. Therefore, even after October 1, electricity will continue to be sold to the population at 295 soums, natural gas at 380 soums, and liquefied gas at 1120 soums. Tariffs have been increased only for the following legal entities:

•    Electricity tariffs for Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine, Navoi Mining Metallurgical Combine, "Uzmetkombinat," and its manufacturing enterprises, as well as budget organizations, are set at 1,000 soums per kWh, and 900 soums for other organizations.

•    Natural gas is proposed to be 1,800 soums per 1 cubic meter for Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine, Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine, "Uzmetkombinat," and its manufacturing enterprises, as well as budget organizations, and 1,500 soums for other organizations.

We would like to remind you that earlier, it was reported that proposals for increasing electricity tariffs for the population and introducing differentiated tariffs are planned for May 2024.
