Several English clubs are reportedly interested in acquiring Uzbek footballer Khusanov, currently with the French club RC Lens, according to 'Daily Football'.
Earlier, there were rumors linking the 20-year-old defender with Arsenal. Now, Newcastle, Everton, and Chelsea are also said to be pursuing him.
Notably, some English media outlets have speculated on the “aristocrats” (Chelsea) showing particular interest in the young Uzbek talent.
Khusanov has made 63 appearances in the Lens system, scoring four goals and providing the same number of assists. His contract with the French club, which includes a transfer fee of 5 million euros, runs through the summer of 2027.
It’s also worth noting that Khusanov was recently nominated for the Young Player of the Year award.
