Uzbekistan national team and Manchester City defender Abdukodir Khusanov has been included in the shortlist of candidates for the club’s Player of the Month award for January. This was reported by the club’s press service.
According to the source, alongside Khusanov, Bernardo Silva and Gianluigi Donnarumma are also nominated for the January Player of the Month award. The winner is being determined through a fan vote on the club’s official website.
For reference, Abdukodir Khusanov featured in nine matches across four competitions for Manchester City during January. At present, the “Citizens” are in second place in the Premier League standings with 47 points.
It is worth noting that earlier, Abdukodir Khusanov ranked second among the fastest players in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League.
